Tabletop Emulator Setup
Setting up your tabletop water heater emulator is easy. Watch the video below (video shows cellular module) or follow the written instructions to create a fully functional tabletop water heater emulator that is ready to receive CTA-2045 requests.
Wi-Fi Setup

Step 2
Step 3

Step 4

Step 5
Step 6

Take the SkyBox out of its box (brown box), and use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the silver screws on the front of the box. This should reveal a white rectangular socket.
Attach the provided power cable to the port on the bottom of the SkyBox and connect to a power source.
Take the EcoPort module out of its box. Connect the module to the socket on your SkyBox (pictured right). The ‘Status’ LED on your EcoPort module should display a steady pink light.
Using your smartphone, tablet, or computer, please connect to the Wi-Fi network that your module creates. To do this, go to your Wi-Fi settings and select the network that is named the last six digits of your EcoPort module’s serial number (s/n). For example, the network name would be “F19727” for the device on the right:
Open the browser of your choice and copy and paste the following URL: 10.10.1.1/a.html
Input the code printed on the device. For example, the device on the right has the code "HX6CY7"
Step 7
The Device will search for available Wi-Fi Networks. Select your desired network (not the module’s network), and enter the network password. Click “Connect to Network”.
Step 8
The light on your EcoPort Module should turn blue within a few minutes, indicating connection to the Wi-Fi network. Once you see a blue light, your water heater emulator is ready to receive CTA-2045 events.
Cellular Setup

Step 1

Step 2
Attach the provided power cable to the port on the bottom of the SkyBox and connect to a power source.

Step 3
Take the EcoPort module (larger white box) out of its box. Connect the module to the socket on your SkyBox (pictured right). The ‘Status’ LED on your EcoPort module should begin blinking white and reach a blue light within a few minutes.

Step 4 (optional)
If device does not "get to blue", unplug your EcoPort module from the SkyBox, take the antenna out of the smaller white box, screw it in to the metal attachment on the right side of the EcoPort module, and plug it back in to the SkyBox.

Step 5
Once you see a blue light, the process is complete! Your water heater emulator is ready to receive CTA-2045 events.
