EcoPort Module

Installation Guide

Before Installing your EcoPort Module, you must first download the SkyCentrics FLEX app. 
Please do so on the appropriate platform here:

What you will need:​

- Device with internet connectivity and photo-taking capability

- EcoPort AC LTE-LP module 

- Antenna for EcoPort Module

- Phillips-head screwdriver

- 10-foot extension cable (if in low-signal environment)

Instructions: 

1. Using your Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the cover from the EcoPort socket of the water heater. This should be a small black rectangle.  

2. Take your EcoPort module out of the white box and attach the provided antenna to the small metal port on the right side of the module. Note: if your installer has provided the signal extender cable, please attach the extender cable to the port on the EcoPort module and the provided antenna to the base on the extension cable). 

3. Plug your EcoPort module into the EcoPort socket on the water heater. The EcoPort module should light up with solid then blinking white under ‘Status’. Wait until the ‘Status’ LED holds a steady blue light for more than 15 seconds consecutively. Give it at least 3 minutes to achieve this state.   

4. If your ‘Status’ light is holding blue, please check your signal using the SkyCentrics FLEX app. If no blue light is achieved, you may request assistance from the installer. ​

5. Using your Phillips-head screwdriver, use the provided screws from your EcoPort module box to secure the EcoPort module in place, using the two holes on the front of the module.   

6. The installation is complete.  Please take the post installation survey. ​
